Creating comfortable horses through equine bodywork in Tucson, AZ and surrounding areas.

My mission is simple: for every horse to be able to move as freely as possible in order for them to perform to the best of their ability and for the professionals who work with them to do so confidently and competently. When your horse feels their best, they perform their best.

What people are saying

My horses and I LOVE Barrio PT. Liz and Aimee have been working with my warmblood geldings for the past couple of years and they are invaluable members of the team - thoughtful, precise, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable.”

-Jessica C.

mom of Maestro + Winter

“Liz and Aimee are so knowledgeable and really give each horse individual attention! Their care goes beyond just massage and PEMF. They include observation and help with overall health and wellness of my horse, and it’s wonderful to know they care about his well being beyond the time they spend with him. I also love the at they continue their education and training to be on top of skills and methods!”

-Danya C.

mom of Mario

“I love the team and they did such a great job on my boy! They are now my favorite bodyworker. We shaved almost a half second off our 4D time Saturday and ran in the 3D on Sunday and won the 4D average buckle thanks to the Barrio team! Cannot recommend them enough!”

The Barrio Difference

Liz & her senior gelding, Rex

BAR•RI•O (noun): Neighborhood. A small community within a larger metropolitan area.

Community has always been important to me. Raised by a serial-volunteerer (okay, I know that’s not a word…), my mom was always finding ways for our family to give back to the community and I was raised to understand the importance of giving back, taking care of those in need, and supporting the community that supports us.

I created Barrio on the same principles.

To take good care of the people who take care of me (that’s you - my awesome clients!).

Equine bodywork isn’t just my job, it’s something that I feel I have a calling to do, and to do well.

I’m dedicated to learning as much as I can about equine anatomy, how the body works, and how holistic modalities can support long term health and healing.

When you work with Barrio, you’ll feel like you’re working with a friend. Someone who just gets you and and wants the best for you and your horse.
